Sara provides assistance and support to IX operators and contributes to [[PCH]]’s network expansion by explaining the benefits of hosting a DNS node at Internet exchange points.Before joining PCH, she was a network and systems engineer for the [http://www.sudren.edu.sd Sudanese Research and Education Network (SudREN)] and the [http://www.nctr.sd/ Nile Center for Technology Research (NCTR]).
she's a volunteer in [http://www.afnog.org AFNOG], and she is one of the early team who started the [http://www.sdnog.sd SdNOG] idea.

Sara is the co-founder of the [https://sdnog.sd Sudan Network Operators Group (SdNOG)] as well as an active member and speaker at the [https://afnog.org African Network Operators Group (AfNOG)] and the Sudanese IPv6 Task Force (Sdv6TF). With an MSc. in Internet Engineering, she is also a trainer on IPv6, DNS, DNSSEC, and network scalability.
